Center Director
Tammy Speerhas
Tammy Speerhas is the Director of ODU Community Care and a Family Nurse Practitioner. She oversees the ODU Ellmer School of Nursing, Nurse-Led, Student-Run free and charitable clinics, including a mobile clinic. Her nursing background includes emergency medicine, urgent care, administration, and program development. She is passionate about serving the underserved populations, those experiencing homelessness, and those that lack access to care. As well, she is eager to grow and educate interprofessional healthcare workers, expanding their knowledge of this vulnerable patient population. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, hiking, and quality time with her family and friends.
